Quick Setup (Plug & Play Guide)
| Step 1: Connect to Wi-Fi | Connect to the miner's access point (via QR code on the display or directly through Wi-Fi search). The settings will automatically open in your browser to pair the miner with your regular home Wi-Fi. |
|---|---|
| Step 2: Open Miner Dashboard | Enter the local IP address shown on the display (e.g., 192.168.x.x) into your browser as a normal web address (URL). |
| Step 3: Configure Wallet & Pool | Under the "Pool" menu item, enter your personal Bitcoin wallet address and the data of a solo mining pool (recommended: Solo CKPool via https://eusolo.ckpool.org/). |
| Step 4: Automatic Start | Save the settings. After a brief, automatic restart of the device, solo mining will begin immediately in the background (Plug & Forget). |
The achievable hashrate and efficiency are largely dependent on the chip clock speed. Overclocking without adequate cooling can lead to damage. No warranty is provided for damage caused by overclocking or future firmware updates beyond the factory settings.

What Our Customers Say
FAQs
How much electricity does the Bitaxe really use?
The miner consumes only approx. 17–25 watts – depending on how much power you demand from it - all our miners are preset to approx. 19 watts. At average electricity prices in Germany, it costs 0.15 - 0.20€ per day. Your refrigerator consumes significantly more. And doesn't make any money.
Is the Bitaxe quiet enough for an apartment?
Yes. Especially with our premium Noctua fans from the Ice and Polar Line, it is extremely quiet (25–35 dB). Many customers use it directly in the bedroom or living room without hearing it.
How long does the setup take?
The complete setup takes less than 5 minutes. You plug it in, connect to the miner's Wi-Fi, and enter your Bitcoin address. After that, it runs fully automatically. If you don't have a Bitcoin address yet, that can also be done in 5 minutes. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
How much can I realistically earn?
Realistically, a solo block is found every few days, and the miner who succeeds receives the full €300,000. Until then, your miner tries 24/7. Your advantage: You pay once for the miner and can play along for years. In contrast, if you participate in a pool, you would only earn a few cents per day - that wouldn't even cover the electricity costs.
What if something breaks?
Every Polarblocks Miner comes with a 12-month warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee. We are a German company and personally handle support. In case of a defect, we will repair or replace the device quickly and easily, as long as we do not detect any hardware or software changes to the device.
Is Bitcoin mining legal in Germany?
Yes, completely legal. You simply have to pay tax on the Bitcoin you earned as income (just like with stocks or other cryptocurrencies).
Do I need to understand crypto to get started?
No. You only need a Bitcoin wallet address (e.g. from an app like BlueWallet or Relai). Everything else happens automatically.
How long does the miner last?
With our high-quality cooling and premium components, a lifespan of 5–8 years is realistic. The fans can be easily replaced if needed.
What happens at the next Bitcoin halving?
The next halving is expected in 2028. Until then, the block reward will remain at 3.125 BTC (approx. €300,000). Many customers see now as the best time to enter the market.
Can I resell the Bitaxe later?
Yes. Bitaxe devices are in high demand and retain their value well. You can resell them without significant depreciation. High-quality devices, such as those from Polarblocks, are particularly sought after.
