The ultimate open-source home miner with four of the latest ASIC chips – the highly optimized NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 for maximum performance. The NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 sets new standards for home and enthusiast mining. With improved cooling, a spring-loaded heatsink, and a 1oz copper PCB, it delivers stable performance in a compact, whisper-quiet design – perfect for solo Bitcoin mining at home, development, and experimentation. Four Bitmain BM1370 ASIC chips (identical to the Antminer S21 Pro architecture) enable impressive hash rates with low power consumption. All open-source and community-driven.
- Hashrate : Factory setting up to 6 TH/s in overclock mode
- ASIC chip : 4× BM1370 (S21 Pro ASIC)
- Power consumption : approx. 103 watts (overclocked) / approx. 70.6 watts (normal)
- Efficiency : 14.66–16.5 J/TH (depending on mode)
- Integrated Wi-Fi for easy wireless connectivity
- Web interface for monitoring and configuration directly in the browser
- Configure Wi-Fi: Connect to the device and set up your home Wi-Fi.
- Enter your Bitcoin address: Enter your on-chain wallet address.
- Solo mining starts automatically after the restart.
New in Rev6.1 – the major upgrades:
-
- The XT30 power input replaces the previous 8A connector and supports up to 15A without voltage drop (no more voltage sag).
- 1 oz of copper and optimized conductor layout reduce board temperatures by 21.4% and significantly improve clock stability.
- A spring-loaded heat sink ensures even contact pressure on the BM1370 ASIC, thus enabling significantly better heat transfer.
- Offset temperature sensors now deliver more precise ASIC temperature measurements.
- The 2 mm FR-4 board increases mechanical durability while remaining lightweight and compact.
- Mechanical one-time fuses are replaced by intelligent power monitoring and resettable power supply fuses – for uninterrupted operation.
- 12% higher efficiency compared to Revision 5 – more hash per watt thanks to all the optimizations.
- 1× NerdQaxe++ Rev6.1 Bitcoin Solo Miner
- 1× 12 V – 10 A – 120 W power supply (EU-style C13 power cord)
- 1 x 3D-printed stand with additionally mounted fan
The achievable hashrate and efficiency depend significantly on the chip clock speed and voltage. Overclocking without adequate cooling can lead to damage. No warranty is provided for damage caused by overclocking or future firmware updates beyond the factory settings.

What Our Customers Say
FAQs
How much electricity does the Bitaxe really use?
The miner consumes only approx. 17–25 watts – depending on how much power you demand from it - all our miners are preset to approx. 19 watts. At average electricity prices in Germany, it costs 0.15 - 0.20€ per day. Your refrigerator consumes significantly more. And doesn't make any money.
Is the Bitaxe quiet enough for an apartment?
Yes. Especially with our premium Noctua fans from the Ice and Polar Line, it is extremely quiet (25–35 dB). Many customers use it directly in the bedroom or living room without hearing it.
How long does the setup take?
The complete setup takes less than 5 minutes. You plug it in, connect to the miner's Wi-Fi, and enter your Bitcoin address. After that, it runs fully automatically. If you don't have a Bitcoin address yet, that can also be done in 5 minutes. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
How much can I realistically earn?
Realistically, a solo block is found every few days, and the miner who succeeds receives the full €300,000. Until then, your miner tries 24/7. Your advantage: You pay once for the miner and can play along for years. In contrast, if you participate in a pool, you would only earn a few cents per day - that wouldn't even cover the electricity costs.
What if something breaks?
Every Polarblocks Miner comes with a 12-month warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee. We are a German company and personally handle support. In case of a defect, we will repair or replace the device quickly and easily, as long as we do not detect any hardware or software changes to the device.
Is Bitcoin mining legal in Germany?
Yes, completely legal. You simply have to pay tax on the Bitcoin you earned as income (just like with stocks or other cryptocurrencies).
Do I need to understand crypto to get started?
No. You only need a Bitcoin wallet address (e.g. from an app like BlueWallet or Relai). Everything else happens automatically.
How long does the miner last?
With our high-quality cooling and premium components, a lifespan of 5–8 years is realistic. The fans can be easily replaced if needed.
What happens at the next Bitcoin halving?
The next halving is expected in 2028. Until then, the block reward will remain at 3.125 BTC (approx. €300,000). Many customers see now as the best time to enter the market.
Can I resell the Bitaxe later?
Yes. Bitaxe devices are in high demand and retain their value well. You can resell them without significant depreciation. High-quality devices, such as those from Polarblocks, are particularly sought after.
